Fængselsmuseet i Porten udvider åbningstiderne i vinterferien, så gæster fra nær og fjern har mulighed for at besøge museet, møde de tidligere ansatte og blive meget klogere på de utrolige historier, der har gemt sig inde bag murene i 160 år.
Gamle klenodier, originale relikvier og håndlavede genstande fylder det historie museum, som huser spændende anekdoter og beretninger fra ét af Danmarks mest velkendte fængsler.
Museet kan passende besøges inden eller efter en rundvisning i det tidligere fængsel, som ligeledes er muligt at besøge i vinterferien. Se separat event.
Bemærk at et besøg på museet og en rundvisning i det tidligere statsfængsel Vridsløselille er to forskellige aktiviteter i vinterferien, og at en indgang på museet ikke giver adgang til en rundvisning i fængslet.

Join us for the first ever Karaoke night at ourtaproom!
The Slowburn team are all big fans of karaoke, and we rarely have a staff party where we don’t end up at Sam’s Bar joyfully embarrassing ourselves while challenging our vocal cords. We are happy to bring this vibe to our space in collaboration with the amazing new Karaoke sensation NYN; who will bring their pop-up equipment, host the evening and give us the chance to channel our inner Britney.
For this first edition we have invited our friends from Gamma Brewing Company to join the party. We will brew a very special collaborative beer together during the daytime before we take to the stage in the evening to belt out our best impersonations and interpretations. Gamma will be bringing a keg of their legendary Freak Wave IPA for you to drink, hot from winning this year's Breinholts Julekalendar.
The bar opens at 15:00 and karaoke starts at 17:00.
No need to book, just drop in with your friends!
This is not a closed event, so of course you can come to the bar even though you aren't planning on singing.

TWO CRAFTS MEET
Musik I Mikrobryggeriet is an expression and celebration of twocrafts.
We invite you into our brewery in Porten Vridsløse to sitamongst the tanks, to see and hear a performance from Classically trainedGuitar & Flute duo Villén & Sjølin.
As well as hearing their virtuosic interplay and interpretations of Classicalpieces you will also hear the duo discuss what is involved in their craft.
Likewise we will be presenting 2 beers to the audience with a guided tasting,to pair with the music, as well as a short talk about Slowburn as a brewery andbrewing as a craft.
So, in one cosy evening, we will share some insight into thesetwo crafts as well as sharing enjoyment of the fruits of these crafts. Listenwhile you drink, drink while you listen.
"The duo Villén & Sjølin has existed since 2015 andconsists of flutist and singer, Linnéa Villén and guitarist and arranger, AllanSjølin. With over 170 concerts and 2 CD releases together, they are a duo witha solid, imaginative and experienced, even almost telepathic interaction wherehumor and wordless communication make up part of the experience."
Taproom doors open at 15:00 and the concert starts at 20:00.

To aftener 10. og 11. juni overtager studerende fra RMC det tidligere Vridsløselille Statsfængsel med et spændende, højaktuelt og eklektisk sammensat koncertprogram, der er særligt skabt til og inspireret af rammerne i det usædvanlige bygningskompleks.
Vridsløse Takeover er gratis for publikum og præsenteres af RMC i samarbejde med det lokale spillested Forbrændingen og med Porten, der er Albertslunds nye kulturelle samlingspunkt i de historiske bygninger på den gamle fængselsgrund.
De to koncertaftener er udviklet og kurrateret af de studerende selv til det nedlagte fængsels spektakulære inde- og udearealer – herunder det centrale panoptikon, fængselskirken og en black box-scene i de indsattes udtjente gymnastiksal. Alle koncerter, værker og installationer er opstået i samskabende processer og fællesskaber.
Det detaljerede program til Vridsløse Takeover offentliggøres kort før det går løs – forvent et samtidsmusikalsk kalejdoskop med udtryk fra hele spektret mellem udforskende lydkunst og medrivende pop.
I alt 24 kunstnere afslutter det første år på deres kandidatuddannelse med at undersøge potentialet og værdien i at forene musikalske ideer og visioner i kunstneriske partnerskaber og samskabelse.

Two special and completely free concert evenings with site-specific musical works in the former Vridsløselille State Prison.Experience the fusion of past and future as some of today's most promising musicians and composers bring sound to life behind the 160-year-old walls of the iconic Vridsløselille State Prison in Albertslund.
On June 10th and 11th, students from the Rhythmic Music Conservatory (RMC) will take over this former prison with a dynamic and eclectic concert program, specially crafted to complement and be inspired by this unique setting.
Presented by RMC in collaboration with local venue Forbrændingen and Porten, Albertslund's new cultural hub, Vridsløse Takeover offers a rare opportunity to explore music in the historic spaces of the old prison grounds. The event is free and open to the public.
Each evening will feature performances developed and curated by the students, utilizing the prison's spectacular indoor and outdoor spaces—including the central panopticon, the prison church, and a black box stage in the disused gymnasium. These concerts, works, and installations are the result of co-creative processes and community efforts.
Stay tuned for the detailed program announcement coming soon. Attendees can expect a kaleidoscope of contemporary music, ranging from exploratory sound art to captivating pop.
A total of 24 artists will conclude their first year of the master’s program by exploring the potential and value of uniting musical ideas and visions through artistic partnerships and co-creation.

I vil kunne opleve en sjov og spændende aften fyldt med filmhistorie, og der vil blive dykket ned i alt fra ikoniske klassikere til de nyeste biografhits!
