TWO CRAFTS MEET
Musik I Mikrobryggeriet is an expression and celebration of twocrafts.
We invite you into our brewery in Porten Vridsløse to sitamongst the tanks, to see and hear a performance from Classically trainedGuitar & Flute duo Villén & Sjølin.
As well as hearing their virtuosic interplay and interpretations of Classicalpieces you will also hear the duo discuss what is involved in their craft.
Likewise we will be presenting 2 beers to the audience with a guided tasting,to pair with the music, as well as a short talk about Slowburn as a brewery andbrewing as a craft.
So, in one cosy evening, we will share some insight into thesetwo crafts as well as sharing enjoyment of the fruits of these crafts. Listenwhile you drink, drink while you listen.
"The duo Villén & Sjølin has existed since 2015 andconsists of flutist and singer, Linnéa Villén and guitarist and arranger, AllanSjølin. With over 170 concerts and 2 CD releases together, they are a duo witha solid, imaginative and experienced, even almost telepathic interaction wherehumor and wordless communication make up part of the experience."
Taproom doors open at 15:00 and the concert starts at 20:00.
Tickets cost 80kr and include two beers.

On Fridays we invite you inside our brewery for a guided Tour & Tasting. You will learn the basics behind how beer is brewed and thestory and vision of our project while you get an in depth tasting of 5 different beers in 15 cl pours.
To add to the Friday fun, you will get 10% discount at our cozy Taproom after the tasting (same day only). The Taproom is open 15:00-00:00 with 10 beertaps, grilled cheese sandwiches, board games and more.

We are excited to be collaborating with Musikforeningen on a series of concerts held inside our brewery, between the tanks.
The performance space in our brewery, located in Porten Vridsløse, is an intimate environment with the audience sitting very close to the performing musicians.
In this space the symbiosis of performer and listener is powerfully apparent.
Giving you a feeling that you are "together" at the concert.
The four concerts feature spellbindingly talented, world-class classical musicians operating in the borderlands between baroque and folkmusic, romanticism and pop, and classical and free jazz.

En udtalelse fra Dødsgangens festivalleder og booker Louise Bagger: “ambitionen for Dødsgangen er at skabe et solidt fundament for så at udvikle på konceptet, og nu er tiden inde til næste fase. Der kommer hele tiden nye ideer der skal prøves af, og bands der skal bookes, Så det kommer som en helt naturlig udvikling at tilføje en ekstra dag i fængslet. Gæsterne kan forvente at opleve et endnu mere helhjertet koncept, og med større bands, og flere overraskelser. “
Dødsgangen er Vestegnens eneste metalfestival, der samler det tungeste metal på den danske scene. Allerede i 2024, festivalens andet leveår, er der tilføjet 2 udenlandske navne på programmet, URNE og 1914 med deres første danske show.
Som noget helt særligt, er festivalen skabt i rammerne for det nedlagte Vridsløselille Statsfængsel i Albertslund, der danner kulissen om hele fængselstemaet. På Dødsgangen kan man nemlig dræbe sin tørst med festivaløllen Gravøl, spise sit sidste måltid, og få en fængselstattoo, mens man hører metal der kan få selv de stærkeste nakkehvirvler til at knække.
De første indsatte sjæle til at betræde scenen er allerede annonceret, hold øje med vores sociale medier for nyheder om de dødsdømte sjæle og andre fængselsopgør.
